VILANO BEACH, Fla. — Four boaters are recovering after being injured in a crash under the bridge at Vilano Beach.
The Florida Wildlife Commission says four people were in a small boat when they were hit by a ski boat around 11:17 PM Saturday.
FWC says the driver of the ski boat did not stop, they were later questioned by investigators.
According to a spokesperson with FWC, one of the victims lost part of his leg in the accident.
The victim's mother reached out to Action News Jax. She says her son is at Orange Park Medical Center in fair condition.
FWC has not yet released the names of all the people involved in the crash.
