Thirteen people from Gainesville, including 11 children, were taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle rollover crash on I-95 near the Duval-Nassau county line on Friday afternoon, officials said.
The crash on I-95 northbound north of Pecan Park Road was reported just before 4 p.m. on Friday.
A 2005 Jeep Liberty carrying 13 people was traveling in the center lane. The Jeep's left rear tire had a blowout, causing the driver of the Jeep, 34-year-old Ebony Nicole Simmons, to lose control of the vehicle.
