Two young women were killed and four people were injured in a three-car crash Saturday in Camden County.
Georgia State Patrol officers were called to the crash at about 7 p.m. on Highway 40 near the Northshore area.

Officials said a white pickup truck struck two cars. One of the cars, a Toyota, had three young women in it. Two of them died in the crash. The third passenger was taken to a hospital in Jacksonville.

The second car that was hit had two passengers, who were also taken to the hospital. The driver believed to have caused the crash has also been taken to the hospital.

Officials said alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
Investigators are working to confirm the names of the victims.
