7 a.m. UPDATE: The Clay County Sheriffs Office has arrested and identified the man reportedly seen leaving a threatening note on the front door of a local high school as Charles Gene Waxler, 23.

Waxler is charged with trespassing on school grounds, false reporting of bomb explosive weapon with mass destruction and written threats to kill or do bodily harm, according to police.
Waxler is being held on a $225,000 bond. His court appearance is April 11.

The threat came Sunday afternoon and all students of the Clay County school district are currently on spring break.

The Clay County Sheriffs Office is asking for the public's help in locating a man believed to have left a threatening note at a high school.
Police said at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, a man left the note on the front door of Fleming Island High School.
Clay deputies did not disclose what the note said.
The man was last known to be wearing dark-colored jeans, a white shirt with the dark lettering, a dark-colored hat, eye glasses and black slip on shoes, according to police. He has dark shoulder-length hair.
Surveillance cameras captured the man riding a bike described as a dark-colored mountain bike with red front forks. The bike had a black basket of some kind on the rear and had a red bucket inside of the basket, according to police.
Authorities ask anyone who has information on the man to contact the Sheriff's Office at 904-264-6512.
