Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper says Michael Henry didn’t put up a struggle when he was arrested Wednesday for molesting four young victims.
“In early July, we got a report from the parent of the children about an incident that occurred,” Leeper said.
Deputies learned from interviews with the child that Henry inappropriately touched her more than 10 times between August and November of 2012.
Deputies say she was 8 or 9 years old when the alleged molestation took place.
Leeper says she wasn’t the only victim.
“Through other investigations we determined there were other children it happened to as well,” he said.
He says none of the victims knew each other.
He also believes there could be more victims.
“They’re looking at other incidents that we may be able to prove and more charges will be filed, but right now we just don’t know,” he said.
Action News Jax went to Henry's home Thursday to see if anyone would talk about his arrest. A woman came to the door claiming to be his mother.
Off camera, she told Action News Jax that her son was falsely accused.
