Detectives are investigating after a 2-year-old was found unresponsive at an Ocala home.
Witnesses told detectives Journee Blyden fell out of her crib while she was playing but a medical examiner has ruled her death a homicide.
She suffered head trauma and was flown to UF Health in Gainesville on June 21, according to Marion County Sheriff's Office.
Doctors deemed she had no brain activity and she was pronounced dead on June 24.
Detectives are talking with witnesses to try and determine how Journee was injured.
