JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE 3/16/2021 11:30 p.m.:
According to the Florida Highway Patrol’s crash report, two males 71 and 57-years-old have died after crashing head-on, on Interstate 10.
Both drivers were from Jacksonville and the only two involved in the crash.
The 71-year-old male was driving eastbound in a westbound lane, when the 57-year-old driver traveling eastbound in the left lane collided head on with the wrong-way driver, the FHP report said.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, two people are dead after a head-on collision on Interstate 10 at Roosevelt Boulevard on Monday evening.
The crash caused all eastbound lanes on I-10 to close for several hours.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department responded to the crash and stated there was at least one person trapped with critical injuries and another with serious injuries. Both were later transported to nearby hospitals.
It is unclear at this time if the two people transported to the hospital are the same two who were reported dead by FHP.
