COVID-19 VACCINE: Regency Mall opens as vaccination site

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

The Regency Mall will not only be a COVID-19 testing center but will now be a walk-up vaccination site as well.

The State of Florida will begin COVID-19 vaccines at the Regency Mall starting Wednesday, Jan. 20 for people 65 years of age and older, and healthcare workers.

Vaccines are by appointment only, and you MUST be a Florida resident to get vaccinated at the Regency Mall.

To make an appointment call 1-866-200-3762. Do not arrive more than 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment.

During your appointment, you must have a photo ID that proves that you’re a Florida resident.

Vaccinations will take place at the SEARS entrance of the mall.

Once the vaccination takes place, you will be monitored for 15-30 minutes to make sure everything goes smoothly.

After your first appointment, state officials will contact you about your second dose.

A face mask must be worn the entire time of your appointment. There are no restrooms available at the vaccination site.
