The State Attorney’s Office is investigating a father seen on a Facebook Live video posing with a gun and what appears to be drugs in front of his child.
Action News Jax is concealing the man's identity because he hasn’t been charged in connection with the video.
Fearing for their safety, the man’s family members wouldn’t go on camera. They said the man and his wife have four children and another one on the way.
Action News Jax reached out to the Department of Children and Families. A spokesperson said an investigation is underway.

A representative also directed us to remind our audience to utilize the Florida Abuse Hotline, which is 1-800-96- ABUSE.
Action News Jax Law and Safety Expert Dale Carson said if the gun in the video is real, there could be criminal charges coming, as court records show the man involved has felony convictions for resisting an officer and battery in a detention facility.
Those charges are just part of his lengthy conviction record.
“Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon is a serious felony, and they could arrest (him) based on that alone,” Carson said.
Carson said investigators will be breaking down this video.
“The individual has a great deal of money. Is he employed? Where is he getting the money?” Carson said. “These are the kinds of things that law enforcement has to address on a daily basis, and they have to do it successfully.”
Action News Jax asked the State Attorney’s Office if there are any warrants out for the arrest of the parents shown in the video. All they’ll say is this is an active and ongoing investigation.
