KINGSLAND, Ga. — Family of a U.S. Army veteran who was stabbed to death in Kingsland say they are afraid no one will be held responsible for his murder.
Taylor Williams' family says several people saw what happened to Williams in the early morning hours of Aug. 14. Police said the 26-year-old was killed during an altercation involving several people outside an apartment on South Grove Road in Kingsland, Ga.
A GoFundMe page said Williams was a veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan.

Since Williams' death, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has released few details, only saying, "A physical altercation involving numerous individuals occurred" and that "Williams was stabbed multiple times, resulting [in] his death."
The family told Action News Jax that Williams was unarmed at the time.
Williams' uncle said they started a memorial outside of the home where Willliams was killed.
Now, #justicefortaylorwilliams is trending on social media with posts and videos of people in Connecticut remembering the veteran.
Williams' family is frustrated that no one has been arrested in the case.
Family says Williams' best friend and former girlfriend were there the night he was killed, and Williams' best friend was also stabbed several times.
According to the GBI, the investigation is being concluded and will be handed over to the district attorney's office.
Williams' family says Williams served as an army medic -- and they never imagined he would be killed so violently after returning to the U.S.
His mother, Nichole, released this statement:
"My son, Taylor Justin Williams, was brutally stabbed to death on August 14, 2016 and nearly four weeks later, no one has been arrested. Taylor honorably served two tours of duty on the front lines in Afghanistan as an Army medic.
Never did we think he would return home only to be murdered by a fellow serviceman on a front lawn.
No matter what happened that night, there's no justification for stabbing an unarmed man 11 times in the back. I will never see my son again and the pain is unbearable. While nothing will bring my son back, the person who did this must be held accountable. We must get justice for Taylor."
