STARKE, Fla. — UPDATE: Fatal Bradford County crash: Loss of 2 men in head-on collision 'tragic'
Authorities are investigating a crash in Bradford County that left two people dead on Thursday night.
The crash happened around 6:20 p.m. on County Road 18 near SE 38th Avenue in Starke, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

According to an FHP press release, the crash was a head-on collision involving two Chevy trucks, a 1999 model driven by 47-year-old Raymond Eddie Austin and a 1998 model driven by 26-year-old Michael Chad Raulerson.
Austin's truck was traveling westbound on County Road 18 near SE 38th Avenue, the release said. Raulerson's truck was traveling eastbound on County Road 18, approaching Austin's vehicle.
For an unknown reason, Austin's truck steered into the eastbound lane and struck Raulerson's truck head on. No passengers were in either vehicle, the FHP release said.
Both Austin and Raulerson were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, the release said.
