A police report says a man accused of stabbing a Fernandina Beach teen tried to hide bloody clothes, and bloody evidence was found at a home nearby.
Zachary Fila is being held without bond on first-degree murder charges.
Police believe he stabbed 19-year-old Thomas Erdmann in Fernandina Beach on Monday.

Action News Jax reporter Bridgette Matter obtained a report from the Fernandina Beach Police Department that says police found bloody evidence of the stabbing.
The report said Fila tried to hide bloody clothes after police said he fled from the area where Erdmann was stabbed to death.
Reports reveal the two knew each other and had been feuding over a girl for several weeks.

Around 3:30 a.m. Monday, Erdmann’s grandmother called police saying her grandson had been stabbed multiple times in her driveway. She told police she saw a skinny, white male fleeing her home.
Erdmann's grandmother told police she heard her grandson arguing on the phone with someone named Zach earlier that night.
She said Erdmann told her Zach threatened him over the phone, saying he knew where to find him if he wanted to fight.
Erdmann was taken to the hospital by helicopter but died after surgery.
Oceanway woman accused of scamming local business people
Later that day, police stopped Fila, who was a passenger in a female’s car. In the trunk, police found a garbage bag with bloody clothes, shoes and a towel. The evidence was confiscated and Fila was arrested.
The woman who was driving the car lived a block from Erdmann's house. Police found fresh blood on the door handle of her home.
Officers found more blood on a bottle of bleach in the house and a bleach-soaked rag in a trash can.
A prosecutor from the state attorney's office said Fila’s father will be hiring a lawyer for his son.
