A gunman is on the run after a man was shot several times on Sunday, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.
Police responded to a shooting at 2:15 p.m. in a Madelyn Oaks apartment unit on Lenox Avenue.
Investigators said the shooting was a domestic-related incident. The victim and suspect are related, police said.
The victim is expected to survive his injuries, police said.
The gunman fled the scene and is described as a black man in his early 20s and weighing up to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and red-striped shorts, police reported.
