Jacksonville firefighters were called out to assist in an early morning fire in a rural area of Nassau County Monday.
Nassau County Fire and Rescue stated they received a call of a fire just before 5 a.m. at a home on Sunowa Springs Trail.
The fire chief told Action News Jax reporter Alicia Tarancon the home is a total loss.

At this time, the cause of the fire is not known.
No injuries have been reported.
Action News Jax is working to learn how many people were inside the home at the time.
