Duval County is starting its second phase of debris cleanup from Hurricane Matthew
It comes more than a month after the storm hit Northeast Florida, including Huguenot Park, which remains closed at least until spring.
Sandollar Restaurant has been open near Huguenot Park for more than 30 years at the mouth of the St. Johns River, but sales have been down about 25 percent since the storm.
"We're sound enough," manager Lee Smith said. "It's not going to affect us in a permanent way."
There was nearly $1 million in damage to the park.
An ordinance has been introduced in the City Council to spend more than $500,000 to fix roads leading into the park.
