Many Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia school districts canceled classes due to Hurricane Irma. Here is the following information we have received from the local school districts.
Duval County
Duval County Public Schools are closed Thursday, Sept. 14, and Friday, Sept. 15. DCPS District administrative personnel are asked to report to their offices on Friday.

St. Johns County
St. Johns County schools will be closed Thursday, Sept. 14 and Friday, Sept. 15.
Diocese of St. Augustine schools
The Diocese of St. Augustine said most of its schools will be closed through Wednesday, Sept. 13. Please continue to check this website for updates on your child's specific school.
Nassau County
Nassau County School District will reopen on Friday, Sept. 15.
Clay County
Clay County schools will remain closed through Friday, Sept. 15 as a result of damage caused by Hurricane Irma, officials said.
Columbia County
Columbia County Schools will be closed through the rest of the week and reopen Monday.
Baker County
Baker County schools will remain closed through Monday, Sept. 18.
Union County
Classes resume in Union County on Monday, Sept. 18. Teachers only return Friday (Friday was scheduled to be a teacher work day anyway). Extracurricular activities resume Friday.
Bradford County
Bradford public schools will be closed through Friday and reopen Monday.
Putnam County
Putnam County schools will remain closed through Friday, Sept. 15.

Glynn County
The Glynn County School System has cancelled school for the remainder of the week, through Friday, Sept. 15, due to the impacts from Tropical Storm Irma.

Ware County
All Ware County Schools will be closed through the rest of the week, Ware County schools said Wednesday.
Both public American Red Cross shelters will remain open at Ware County High School and Waycross Middle. Ware Middle will continue serving as a shelter and outpost for the Georgia Department of Transportation and Center Elementary will continue serving as a shelter and outpost for Glynn County Government.
Charlton County
All Charlton County schools will be closed Thursday, Sept. 14 and Friday, Sept. 15. Faculty and staff are to report Friday, Sept. 15. School will resume for all students Monday, Sept. 18.
Camden County
Camden County Schools said schools will reopen Monday, Sept. 18. School employees will be allowed to return to work Friday, Sept. 15 on a voluntary basis. Reporting to work on Friday is only for employees that are able and willing to do so.
Pierce County
Pierce County Schools said schools will begin normal operations Thursday, Sept. 14.
Brantley County
Brantley County Schools will be closed Wednesday, Sept. 13 through Friday, Sept. 15.
University of North Florida
UNF will cancel classes, including online, Wednesday and will resume on Thursday.

The Salvation Army's Child Development Center in downtown Jacksonville will reopen when the Duval County schools reopen.

The Jacksonville School for Autism will be closed Friday and Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The school is scheduled to re-open Thursday, Sept. 14.
