A GoFundMe page says Stefano was hit by a drunk driver while he was on his way to work at approximately 4:45 a.m.
Stefano's 2006 Ford Mustang and a 2015 Chevy sedan, driven by 23-year-old Xavien Hamm, was charred after the crash.
Stefano and Hamm were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
