The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating after a customer shot an employee in the leg at the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen on Edgewood Avenue.
Police said there were four employees in the store at the time of the shooting.
The employee who was shot has non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect fled after the shooting, police said
JSO is working to get surveillance video.
