Jag fans still seeing teal after Sunday's win against the Patriots

Duval has a case of Jaguars fever that isn't dying down after Sunday's big victory over the Patriots.

Action News Jax reporter Courtney Cole was at Mellow Mushroom on Monday night as fans turned out to see a triumphant Blake Bortles for Jaguars All Access.

Energy levels were at an all-time-high on Monday night, as Jaguars fans packed into Mellow Mushroom on Monday all to be a part of what's being called Victory Monday.

They were also waiting for the chance to see and meet Quarterback Blake Bortles. "Best game ever! Best game ever! Absolutely the best game ever!,” Craig Fordham told Action News Jax.

But this game was more than just a chance to sock it to the Patriots and prove they’re here to stay, in fact, it was arguably one of the best games of Blake Bortles' career and it's got fans saying: "That's my quarterback!"

Fordham said he came all the way from Sydney, Australia, to celebrate his favorite team. "I've been following the Jags since the early 2000s.” ...And his favorite player. "Blake Bortles is the BOAT! He's my guy! I've been a believer since day 1!” exclaimed Fordham.

He has the shirt and the Twitter handle to prove it. It reads: Blake Bortles is my-quarterback @Aussiejag.

Some of you reading this may be wondering why Fordham is a Jacksonville Jaguars fan.

He told Action News Jax Courtney Cole he developed a love for the team because he loves the ‘battle of the underdogs’ story.

Rick Hastings wants the Jags to know they have die-hard fans here in the River City, too.

Hastings said he’s been a loyal fan for some time now, rocking with them since 1993, and now his patience has paid off.

"We're in a new, better place for the future and I think we're going to go pretty far this year," Hastings said.

It’s safe to say the fans Action News Jax spoke to are ready to see the Jags go all the way to the Super Bowl this year.

In the meantime, they want you to come out and support them at their game against the Tennessee Titans this Sunday, at TIAA Bank Field.
