JSO officer holds "I am here for you" sign in patrol area

In a show of support for people his his patrol area, an officer held a sign for hours Sunday morning.

The sign read: "Jax I am here for you."

When Jacksonville Sheriff's Office asked Officer John Whitcomb why he was holding the sign, he said he wanted people in his patrol area to know he is there for them.
