OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine — Police in Maine said the body of a former Action News Jax meteorologist has been located.
Tom Johnston, 46, was reported missing Monday, according to a release from the Old Orchard Beach Police Department.

The Auburn, Maine, Police Department said in a Facebook post on Thursday night that the Maine Warden Service located Johnston's body.
"Any suspicion of foul play has been ruled out and the investigation is focused on an apparent suicide," the Facebook post said.

Johnston was most recently a meteorologist for WCSH in Portland, Maine.
Police said he left Old Orchard Beach early in the morning on Saturday to attend a function at Sunday River Ski Resort.
He had not had contact with his family since 10:20 p.m. Saturday.

He was known for his humor and fun personality.
