A 19-year old Ponte Vedra Beach man was arrested on two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of transmission of child pornography on Thursday.
Neal Douglas Buckles was in Jacksonville on Thursday morning brought in for questioning, St. Johns County Sheriff's Office said. He was then booked into the St. Johns County Jail and has a hearing on Friday.
Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Cyber Crimes Unit have been investigating Buckles about a month ago after they received a tip that he had allegedly shared child pornography.
The investigation revealed that Buckles had at least two images depicting young children engaging in sexual activities, authorities said.
A person with the same name as Buckles lists himself on Facebook as a child care provider at the Church of Eleven22 and studies child psychology at the University of North Florida.
This same Facebook profile advertises a babysitting service called Buckles' Babysitters.
