Man flees after robbing Arlington gas station, police say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed an Arlington gas station Wednesday morning.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriffs' Office, a man entered a Shell station located at 7150 Merrill Rd, and waved a silver gun at the store clerk and demanded money bags.

The man, wearing a black mask, gloves and dark clothing left the area on foot.

JSO said a small amount of money was recovered nearby.

No one was hurt in the incident, detectives said.
