Hagins was shot when James Cameau brought a semi-automatic gun and opened fire on his coworkers.
He followed them through the business and continued to shoot at them as they fled from the gun fire, according to deputies.
Deputies said Cameau began working at the business approximately a month ago. He appeared despondent in the days before the shooting, coworkers told deputies.
Deputies with Clay County Sheriff's Office found Cameau dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound shortly after they arrived at Jacksonville Granite.
