JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man reportedly threatened to kill all gay people at Keith Pierson Toyota, according to the owner.
The owner, Keith Pierson, told Action News Jax that a man walked into the lobby and threatened to kill all gay people.
The man walked off after everyone was evacuated out of the building, Pierson said.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office apprehended the man once he left the property, which is located on Youngerman Circle.

It took 29 minutes for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office to arrive after a report was made, Pierson said.
No one was hurt.
Suspect was not known to anyone at the dealership, Pierson said. Both a manager and a salesman told Action News Jax that the man told them he had a gun.

JSO said the man was not armed and is mentally ill. The man will be placed under the Baker Act, JSO said.
The man hasn't been identified.
