St. Johns County deputies asked the public for help finding Carly on Thursday after her father told deputies he was awakened by the family dog in the middle of the night and found a note from Carly.
She said in the note that she was staying with a friend and planned to get a job.
Her father said she had not run away in the past but had threatened to do so.
A report that detailed the note also revealed Carly had a history of meeting up with people she met on the internet.
