The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating the drowning of a 6-year-old girl in Cedar Hills.
Officers said it happened on Kirkpatrick Circle. The girl was found floating in the pool at the Willow Ridge condo complex and then died at the hospital.
Police tell Action News Jax the girl was at the pool with a 15-year-old girl who was watching her. The 15-year-old yelled for help and a 14-year-old boy came to try to save the girl.
No adults were present at the time, officers said.
JSO said it is reviewing surveillance video to learn more about what happened.
