A man was shot while sitting in a vehicle early Sunday in San Jose, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Police responded to Toledo Road at 2:44 a.m. and transported the man to Memorial Hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.
Detectives said the shooting stemmed from a verbal argument at a bar.
Investigators said the shooter followed the victim and his acquaintance to the Plantation Apartments and fired a gun at the vehicle.
Police did not release a suspect description.
