Carnival cruise ship departure delayed in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A cruise ship was delayed at port in Jacksonville for hours, according to passengers.

Passengers said they were scheduled to depart at 4:00 p.m. but were told there were issues with hot water onboard the Carnival Fascination.

A passenger told Action News Jax they were first told the ship would leave at 8:00 p.m.

The ship left port around 9:30 p.m., according to a JAXPORT spokesperson.
