Sen. Marco Rubio has been re-elected to the U.S. Senate in Florida.
Rubio beat Democrat Patrick Murphy for the seat by 6 percent.

Updates: Florida voters say yes to medical marijuana
Rubio repeatedly said he would not run for re-election after his loss for the Republican nomination for president but he announced his run for re-election in June.
He said it is his duty to stay in his Senate seat, but he's gotten a lot of backlash for "not showing up to work."
Rubio has said he is the only one who stood up to both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
