JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 2-year-old was shot while sleeping with her parents Monday night at a Jacksonville apartment complex.
Police said two people were handling a shotgun at the Villages of Baymeadows Apartments when the gun went off.
A 2-year-old in a nearby apartment was hit in the leg. She was treated at the apartment and is expected to be OK, officers said.
Two people are being questioned.
