Cement truck overturns after crashing into barrier, killing driver on Nocatee Parkway

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — St. Johns County Fire Rescue has responded to a fatal crash in the 4300 block of Nocatee Parkway Thursday.

A 36-year-old man was driving a cement truck east on Nocatee Parkway when, for unknown reasons, he lost control.

The truck crashed into a concrete barrier wall and overturned before traveling down an embankment. The man was pronounced deceased at the crash scene. The crash is still under investigation.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

This is the second fatal crash SJCFR has responded to today — the first being a fatal crash on CR-210.
