St. Johns deputies: Gators did not escape St. Augustine Alligator farm during Hurricane Matthew

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office took to Facebook to dispel a rumor that alligators escaped from the St. Augustine Alligator Farm during Hurricane Matthew.

The Sheriff's Office said "Florida Fish and Wildlife went down to the farm and it is completely secure and safe. None of the gators have wandered away."
