ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that happened at a motel on State Road 16 near Interstate 95.
Around 9 p.m., a man wearing a motorcycle helmet entered the Howard Johnson motel, pointing a handgun at the clerk and demanding money.
The suspect fled on foot, SJSO said.
