The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department was called to a two-alarm fire on Jacksonville's Westside on 103rd Street around 5 a.m. Monday.
JFRD closed down 103rd Street while they battled the blaze, but reopened the closed sections soon after 7 a.m.
By 6 a.m. JFRD had the fire under control, but 8 units on the storage facility property were damaged and 8 were destroyed in the fire.

U-Haul tells me they are in the process of contacting the customers and securing the storage units. Then they will work to relocate their belongings to a new unit. @ActionNewsJax pic.twitter.com/CAYwtVi5nK
