The Jacksonville Jaguars hope Pokémon Go can translate into a few more fans.
Thousands of invited players were invited Monday night to find Pokémon at EverBank Field, a first for a sporting venue.
The Pokémon Safari hit capacity, so those who didn’t register couldn’t join the safari experience.
Pokémon Go is the latest craze, people exploring new places and finding hundreds of species on the Pokémon Go app.
Ten thousand people were expected to come to the first-ever Pokémon safari at EverBank Field. Thousands are elated to travel between the real world and the virtual world by going to Poke Stops.
Luis Gonzalez played Pokémon as a kid, but the latest version of the game is offering him a chance to meet thousands of players at EverBank Field.
“I never thought this is actually going to happen. But, it’s really happening in real life. It’s the most amazing thing,” said Luis Gonzalez.
