UPDATE: Friends place memorial at site of hit-and-run after young Putnam mom killed
Troopers are searching for a driver who hit a young mother and fled in Putnam County on Monday.
Carlie Cummings of Georgetown was hit and killed on Lakeway Drive at Ferncreek Drive.

Cummings, the mother of a 3-year-old son, was found by a passer-by.
Troopers said they the driver was in a white car but they do not know the make or model.
They are asking anyone with information about the crash to call Florida Highway Patrol at 904-359-6572 or dial *FHP on a cellphone.
Cummings' friends and family are also calling for everyone to be on the lookout for the car.

Her son's godmother Bino Brehm posted on Facebook telling everyone to keep an eye out.
"Someone did this to her, and didn't even have the decency to get her help. They let her die," she said. "My godson is going to grow up without a mother now. Please. I'm begging you guys."
