Two people are in custody after a shooting in Jacksonville, according to police.
One person has life-threatening injuries after the shooting on Holly Bell Drive in Fort Caroline.
The person who was shot crashed a car into a tree. Officers said the victim may have been fleeing when the car crashed.
Officers said descriptions from community members helped officers track down the suspects.
They were taken into custody after a traffic stop down the road from the shooting.
Officers found a gun inside the van in plain view.
Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said the motive of the shooting is unclear.
Officers said it was a miracle that the apartments nearby weren't hit by the 8 to 15 shots that were fired.
