Several Verizon Wireless customers throughout Florida reported Tuesday night that they were not able to to make calls out on their phones.
According to Outage.Report, many cities across Florida were affected, such as Tampa, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, St. Petersburg, Riverview, Jacksonville, Miami, Cape Coral, Sarasota and Naples.
As of early Tuesday night, Verizon has not stated what is causing the outage.
Verizon Wireless' Twitter support account was telling customers just after 8 p.m. that the issue was fixed and asking users to restart their devices to reset network settings.
Thank you for your patience. We have fixed the issue. Please restart your device to refresh the network settings. *RH
