According to this arrest report, Herrington’s infant was seizing in her arms when she brought him to Baptist Health.
Doctors told investigators the baby was being treated and had tested positive for meth. The baby was later taken to Wolfson Childrens Hospital’s Pediatric ICU.
Detectives determined Herrington neglected her son and left him in an unsafe environment. She is now facing a felony child neglect charge.

Action News Jax went to her listed address Friday and the residents we spoke to said she no longer lives there.
Although family members tell us the baby is out of the hospital, when we asked if Herrington was back with her son, they said DCF is now handling the case.
Her family members wouldn’t comment on how the baby ingested the powerful stimulant in the first place.
