Employee at Webb Wesconnett Library tests positive for COVID-19; Branch closed for cleaning

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Webb Wesconnett Library branch of the Jacksonville Public Library is closed for deep cleaning after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

Jacksonville Public Library says the employee tested positive Sunday and they are now self-isolating. They will be able to return to the library after completing two negative COVID-19 tests.

20 other employees are now self-isolating and are awaiting test results.

The library will reopen later this week, according to the Jacksonville Public Library. There are three other regional libraries that are open indoors, Highlands, Pablo Creek, and Southeast, as well as the Main Library.
