FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Warmest temps in months and a weak weekend cold front

NOW PLAYING ABOVE

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — It’s a cool start to Friday morning but it’s the warmest morning in almost a month.

  • Keep an eye out for some areas of fog for the commute.
  • Afternoon temps climb to the 80s – it’s been two months since we’ve been at least 80.
  • A few showers move through the area tonight, mainly after midnight.
  • Whatever rain is around exits the area shortly after sunrise tomorrow.
  • Rain amounts look low, best case scenario will be a tenth to a quarter inch.
  • A cold front accompanies the rain but it’s not a strong front as temps bump down slightly Saturday.
  • Saturday during the day is dry and Sunday’s dry from start to finish.
  • Temps gradually warm up again through the week next week.
  • Weather pattern long-term is pretty dry as we approach pollen/wildfire season.
