The teens drove away and ended up here on Lanier Rd. When officers arrived, they found one of the teens dead and four others injured.
Police are currently looking for a suspect in a silver SUV.
“They need to get a grip on these kids with guns,” neighbor Debra Suber said.
She was concerned but not surprised.

“I seen the police down here on Starratt Rd. and Duval Rd., and I am wondering what’s going on. It’s crazy. It’s a madhouse,” she said.

The shooting was not the only headline around First Coast on Tuesday. DCPS confirmed a loaded gun was safely confiscated at the school.
“I don’t wanna send my kids to school. Really don’t want to send them to school,” Suber said.
Police and DCPS were unable to confirm if the teens involved in the shooting attended the school, but Debra Suber says this is just another violent incident surrounding First Coast that makes her nervous to send her kids to the school.
Last week, another shooting in the area injured a 16-year-old student.

We asked police if these shootings were connected or related to local gang activity. Police said the violent crimes unit and gang investigation unit are working on these cases.
Neighbors just want the violence to stop.
“But these are babies with guns killing each other,” Suber said..
Action News Jax reached out to Duval County Public Schools, who confirmed that a loaded firearm was confiscated at First Coast High School Tuesday and a student has been taken into custody. It is unclear if this incident and the shooting are related at this time.
First Coast High School will have increased security Wednesday due to the shooting and sent parents an updated message:
