Florida Gators football team benched due to positive COVID-19 tests among players

GAINSVILLE, Fla. — According to the University of Florida, the football team has experienced an increase in positive COVID-19 tests among the players.

Team activities are paused as of Tuesday afternoon.

The school has been in touch with last week’s opponent Texas A&M, and this week’s opponent LSU.
