St. Augustine, FL — An alligator from the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park went to the veterinary hospital at the University of Florida on Friday.
Doctors noticed a lame leg on the 660-pound, 38-year-old reptile named Bob.
The gator was taken to the hospital’s radiology department so that doctors could get some images of its leg, which showed evidence of osteomyelitis.
Bob is currently being monitored by the hospital’s zoo medical team.
