Putnam County Sheriff’s Office warrant reveals drugs; Six people arrested

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Vice Unit and SWAT Team served a search warrant around 1 a.m. on Dec. 23 at 103 Colonial Circle.

The search warrant followed months of undercover investigation by narcotics detectives.

The investigation revealed that the home has been a plague on the neighborhood as a location where drugs were sold and a place where people with “extensive criminal histories gathers to use illegal drugs,” police say.

Detectives found heroin, methamphetamine, controlled narcotic painkillers, multiple items of drug paraphernalia and counterfeit money. The investigation is ongoing and no additional information is available at this time.

The suspects arrested are:

  • Geary Douglas, 63: Possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Jayson Douglas, 41: Three counts of possession of a controlled substance
  • Amanda Ward, 31: Three counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of violation of probation
  • Justin Childs, 37: Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Joseph McMahon, 37: Possession of drug paraphernalia, contempt of court
  • James Burke, 34: Possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia
