BRUNSWICK, Ga. — UPDATE, 6/22/2020: The State of Georgia and William “Roddie” Bryan have agreed to a continuance of the hearing on Bryan’s Motion for Bond and Motion for Relief, according to a motion filed Friday.
An alternate court date to hear these motions has not been set yet.

A new court date has been set for one of the men accused of murder in the February shooting death of 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery.
A hearing will be held for William “Roddie” Bryan on June 26 at 10:30 a.m. in Glynn County Superior Court, according to court documents.
Bryan, the individual who recorded the video of Arbery’s shooting, was charged with felony murder and criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment. He was arrested by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on May 21.
Two of the motions filed by Bryan’s attorney, Kevin Gough, will be addressed by the court: Motion for Bail without Waiver of Preliminary Hearing and Motion for Relief from Prejudicial and Inflammatory Statements made by Individuals Purporting to Speak for the Victim and His Family.
On June 4, the cases against against Bryan and Gregory and Travis McMichael, the father and son who are charged with felony murder and aggravated assault in Arbery’s death, were bounded over by a magistrate court judge. Their cases were moved to superior court and they remain in custody.
