'Kidnapped: The Kamiyah Mobley Story' slated to premiere on Lifetime in 2020

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The story of the 1998 kidnapping of a Jacksonville infant girl -- and the 2017 discovery that the girl was still alive -- is coming to the small screen.

"Kidnapped: The Kamiyah Mobley Story" will premiere on 2020 on Lifetime and will be produced by award-winning journalist Robin Roberts, according to Deadline.

Nicey Nash will star as Gloria Williams, the woman who kidnapped Kamiyah Mobley as a newborn infant from what was then known as University Medical Center. Nash has appeared in "When They See Us" and "Claws."

Williams is currently serving an 18-year prison sentence for Mobley's kidnapping.

Rayven Symone Ferrell will play Kamiyah Mobley, who Williams raised as her own daughter in South Carolina under the name Alexis Manigo.

Ferrell is known for her role in "The Hate U Give."

Ta'Rhonda Jones, who is known as Pasha on FOX's "Empire," will take on the role of Shanara Mobley, Kamiyah's mother, who was just a teen when her first baby was taken.
