Officials are investigating a Jacksonville day care after a woman says her 10-month-old granddaughter came home with a huge lump on her head.
Rolanda Rose said she found out her granddaughter, Layla, had a fractured skull after she came home from Magical Beginning Learning Academy with a lump on her head Thursday.

“That mass that was on the back of her head was blood,” Rose said.
Rose said she didn’t notice the lump right away but she did notice something else that was odd.
“They noticed somebody did her hair at the day care and put the pigtails way back here, and it was obvious someone was hiding something,” Rose said.
Rose said she took Layla to the hospital and doctors told her Layla's skull was cracked from ear to ear.
Action News Jax went to Magical Beginning Learning Academy to ask them about Layla's injuries.
Department of Children and Families investigators were at the day care.

The day care manager seemed shocked by the allegations.
Action News Jax found out Magical Beginning Learning Academy has been licensed since 2012 and has a capacity of 130 children.
It has had more than a dozen violations over the last two years but nothing major, such as abuse or neglect.
Rose said she is waiting for answers.
“Was somebody abusing her? Did they turn their back and let her fall?" Rose said.
DCF said it will take 60 days to complete its investigation.
