GREEN COVE SPRINGS, Fla. — Deputies, K9 units from several agencies and a police helicopter are searching for a suspect after an 18-year-old was killed and another man was injured during an armed robbery in Green Cove Springs.
Deputies from Clay, St. Johns and Union counties are searching for Ozell McNabb Jr. south of Green Cove Springs to the Putnam County border.
McNabb is one of four people accused in the death of Kolton Shearer, 18.
Taurean Johnson, 28, Jordan Tyler Coleman, 20, and Alexandra Schreffler, 21, are in custody after deputies found Shearer dead and another man injured at a gas station.

Clay County detectives said three victims came to a home on State Road 16 and Randall Road, where Coleman and Schreffler lived.
They may have been there to buy drugs, according to deputies.
Crime scene tape surrounded the house as investigators put together the pieces of what led up to the overnight shooting.
Sheryl Dyal told us the gunshots on her street woke up her daughter early Sunday morning.
“She heard her dog barking in the middle of the night, and she heard gunshots,” Dyal said.
Action News Jax was there as detectives collected evidence, took pictures and discussed the logistics from this crime scene.
Clay County deputies told us several shots were fired as the victims tried to escape. They believe this is an attempted robbery that’s drug related. Neighbors tell us this house likely sells drugs.
“I hear a lot of traffic late at night, especially on the weekends,” Dyal said.
Investigators said the three victims escaped in a black truck and drove less than a half of a mile away to a Kangaroo Express gas station to ask for help.
That’s where a clerk called 911. Deputies found Shearer dead near the gas pump as a result of his wounds, and another man who was shot in the leg.
The young, injured adult was taken to Orange Park Hospital, and he's scheduled for surgery on Monday. The third victim didn’t sustain any injuries.
This country community is where Dyla grew up knowing everybody. Now, she fears her hometown is turning down a dark path.
“I never had to deal with this when I was a young girl. Protect your family at all cost and pray. I pray,” Dyla said.
